Hotel Nikko Tachikawa Tokyo

This is a very modern hotel in the heart of Tachikawa about a 7 minute walk from Tachikawa Station. Our double room was comfortable but of a modest size, comparable to other hotels we've stayed in Tokyo. It was spotlessly clean when we checked in and refreshed every day. Breakfast was included in the room price and was a nice buffet offering both Japanese and Western selections. All food was well prepared. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was excellent. There are many good restaurants and shops close by and the area feels very safe at night. We attended a wedding in the banquet area one of the days and again the service and attention to detail was superior.

The room is clean although it is not new. It is within one and a half hour’s drive from Lake Motosu, so we were able to make a easy day trip to Fuji Shibazakura.

The location was very convenient to the area I was attending an event. The room was larger than I expected and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the lobby and hallway spaces were clean and beautiful. The staff at the reception desk was very polite and kindly took the time to teach me how to use the travel promotion campaign coupons and so on. Would love to stay there again.
